The auditorium of the Carlton/Berkeley abutting that of the Majestic/La Continentale in an August 1948 aerial view. The entrance and corridor was on the Stephen Street side of the auditorium. The blanked windows on the auditorium wall are odd - was it a converted hall or place of worship, or were the blanked windows fire services requirements?
