Photograph taken during opening week. The display boards fixed either side of the restaurant windows were an illuminated feature at night. To the left a builder can be seen laying the foundations of the shop unit which was owned and rented out by the cinema. Kemp said originally the large car park was going to have an entrance either side of the cinema, however, he suggested a shop would be more profitable and would make the one entrance on the right.
