A more distant picture, showing the whole building. ANZAC is a very meaningful part of the theatre’s whole name. It stands for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps which suffered horrendous losses of men in the 1914-18 European war. I have no pictures of its interior, but it was a comfortable and pleasantly appointed suburban neighbourhood cinema.
