The stairs to the right led to Cinema 1 in the balcony (the former Ozone’s Lounge and Dress Circle) which sloped down to the former stage, with Cinemas 2 and 3 underneath in the Stalls area. The refreshment bar was built in front of the blocked off windows which originally lit the foyer. The numbered indicators blinked when a film session in the relevant cinema was about to commence.
