Xerox copy from microfiche of what was intended to be a one-time event at The Orson Welles Cinema. A 24 hour film marathon of science fiction classics.It was a sellout in both main houses as was a 12 hour mini marathon thrown together at the last minute in Cinema 3. The event was repeated the next year with the same results and continued till the cinema was destroyed in a fire. The event moved to other venues and continues to this day at the Somerville Theater.
