Opened as the Highway 66 Drive-In in 1965 and was owned by GRIF. It later became part of the Video Independent drive-ins. The theatre was later renamed the 11th Street Drive-In and was in operation until 1982 it had two screens with a 560 car capacity. It was severely damaged by a tornado in 1974. The theatre has been demolished and a church stands on the site of the former drive in.

All the way up to 1967 the 11th Street Drive-in always included a newsreel on the program. Universal News were the last to be shown.
