This was a single screen theatre and much of the theatre is still intact even though it is being used for retail. The marquee over the front entrance is still in place with the big V on the center front.

V Theater marquee center front holds an image of Micky Mouse, because the structure now houses a division offices for Disney Cable.

Look into historic photo pages to view exterior images of the Mcalester V Theater, OKLA Theater, and Busby Theater (Busby exterior/interior pix);

For full view of McAlester's V Theater check out Cinema Tour web site. I've always wondered where they came up with such an odd name for this cinema.

The Cinema Tour photo shows it to be quite plain in appearance and I agree, strange name for a theatre.

I compared this photo with the photo on Cinematour and this photo appears to be a recent photo of the V Theater.

On google maps at the top of this page, using the correct address of 224 E. Choctaw Ave., McAlester, OK 74501-5026 there is a fine image of the vacant V Theatre.
The Former Forum Theatre (now Marilynn's Boutiquecan also be seen three doors West of the V.
