Located in the costal town of Humacao the Victoria opened its doors as a performing arts hall in 1928. The three story Victoria Theater stands proudly on the historic streets of urban Humacao, it is a wonderful example of Spanish Colonial architecture. The Victoria was latter converted into a movie theater which it was until it felt victim to the large multi-screen mega cinemas.

Currently the Victoria is undergoing a $3,878,000 restoration, which seeks to restore the Victoria to its former beauty and reopen it as a performing center for the fine arts.

What a pretty exterior! Can anyone provide info on the state of the interior renovation? Also, the theater exterior appears to be for a theater that would accomodate more than the 300 seats stated in the intro.
