The Parkway Theatre was originally a single screen theatre that opened in 1947. (Previously, it was located in the building next door.) It was remodeled and converted into a two-screen theater in 1978. The marquee, with the large neon lights spelling out the name of the theater and the yellow tile, give the place a classic 1950's feeling from the outside. The Parkway is independently owned and shows current and recent popular films.

The theatre is now closed. I don't know if it's for sale or not, but the owners were Tony and Sharon Eldreth. Both numbers are now disconnected, & I haven't gotten any paperwork from them in a while.
Lost Memory ~ I see you all over this site, are you one of the owners or an administrator for this site?

I'm not an administrator for the website. I'm just a working stiff. :)

I have to correct myself on that last post. It seems I've just got some paperwork from them today that leads me to believe that they were merely having phone issues. The owners listed is correct and the theatre is still operating. (Sorry guys!) ~ Lost Memory, I'm glad to see an average working stiff w/ such an avid interest in theatres. I work in the industry myself (I provide a means of additional income for theatres.), and am in contact w/ hundreds of theatres across the nation. W/ the exception noted above, my information is usually very accurate as I have to communicate w/ them constantly.
