Isis Theatre

The Isis Theatre in Pensacola opened May 14, 1914 with Blanche Sweet in “Classmates” & “Newlyweds Dilemma”. It was built for C.H. Turner. The Isis was part of the Saenger Amusements circuit. In 1945, according to the Film Daily Yearbook, the theater was still operating and could seat 500. Any additional information on the Isis would be appreciated.

Listed un the 1943 edition of Film Daily Yearbook as being operated by Paramount Pictures Inc. via their subsidiary E.V. Richards.

In 1944 that subsidiary was known as Paramount-Richards Theaters, INC.
