The Morris Theater is listed in editions of Film Daily Yearbook from at least 1941. In the 1940's it was operated by Paramount Pictures Inc. through their subsidiary Julius Gordon.

It is still open today as a 99-cent theater.

This is a recent noght view of the Morris Theater. It looks like inflation has hit Daingerfield, Texas. Seats are now $1.50.
