Built after the tragic earthquake which destroyed almost all of the city of Agadir on 29th February 1960.

The Cinema Rialto is located in the downtown area, close to the market. It screens conventional Hollywood films during the day and at midnight Indian produced films.

Prior to the earthquake there had been four cinemas operating in Agadir. All were destroyed.
