Located slightly away from the main downtown area, the Cinema Sahara was built in the 1960’s after the earthquake of 29th February 1960 destroyed the most of the town. Prior to the earthquake there were four cinemas operating in Agadir.

It screens regular Hollywood films in the daytime and Indian films at a midnight screening.
