Opened on December 18, 1981 and closed in 1991. Screens were said to be quite small even for that period of time. Cinema was demolished in early-1990’s to make way for an expanded food court.

Anyone have any pics? I remember coming here when I was a kid and it always had enormous lineups and lots of traffic.
There is a gym now behind the food court where the theatre once stood.
Address was 234 Donald Street Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M8 August 1986 print ad added. Facade pictured in the Overview photo still remains today via Street View.
This opened on December 18th, 1981 as the first Cineplex in town. Grand opening ad posted.
