The Ava had been closed, but was reopened recently. Two movies are shown each night, but on Thursdays admission is free for films and live music.

There at one time was another theatre in Ava called the Avalon, anone have any information on the Avalon?

In 1955 there are two theaters listed for Ava, MO. The Avalon and the Star. No address given for either one.
