Opened in 1958 as the Kinema Republika, it had a seating capacity for 600. The building possibly pre-dates the cinema, and has columns supporting a pediment, with the facade in a Classical style.
Now re-named Kinema Millennium, it was recently renovated by the Kinema Millenium group, the seating capacity is now reduced to 250. It is located to the west of the main square in the centre of the northern city of Shkodra.
