The Airport Drive-In was located in Sandston, VA. which is on the outskirts of Richmond, VA. The theatre was a 400 car drive-in. It operated from 1950 until August 25, 1985, and was demolished late in 1985.

This page has some nice photos of the marquee and screen tower. It was called the Richmond Drive-In in the early-to-mid-'50s; look carefully at the screen tower and you can make out the old name. (have to credit John Peppers for those pics)
