This is the stairway to the huge men’s room in the basement.
Keith’s showed lots of horror films in the late 50s and early 60s. For an eight year old it could quickly turn into an enormous haunted house. Very difficult getting down those stairs when Black Sunday or Terror is a Man was on the big screen
