Opened May 20, 1994 by General Cinema to replace the defunct Burlington Mall Cinema, which was demolished to make way for an expanded food court.

Cinemas 5 and 6 are the largest houses and are (or were) THX certified. The Burlington cinema is very similar in design to the Braintree cinema. Burlington does not have 70mm capability, however (Braintree does—or did—have a V8 in cinema 5).
Across a major street from the mall, and up a hill as well. Walking there from the mall is an adventure not for the faint of heart.
The Burlington Cinema 10 was designed for General Cinema Corporation by architect James Thomas Martino.
This opened on May 20th, 1994 with preopening events starting on the 6th. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
