The 219 Drive-In opened in 1954 with a capacity for 200 cars. It was located at the intersection of Route 219 and Sand Flat Road. The 219 Drive-In closed around 1988. The property is currently used as a garden center/landscaping business.

I was visiting my sister last week in Kitzmiller, Maryland and my nephew showed me this former drive-in. This drive-in is closer to Oakland than to Dear Park.
The screen is still standing although a section has come off. If anyone was interested, this place could be restored.
Here is what is left of the 219 Drive-in.

There was a Paradise Drive-in in Deer Park,MD.Could this be the 219 drive-in?
NICE MARQUEE SHOT PAT BOONE AND SHIRLEY JONES IN “APRIL LOVE” anybody know what year that came out?
I have an almost 2000 page DVD book and “APRIL LOVE” is not listed,so I guess it never made it to video.Thought it might be there.
Look on the Internet Movie Data Base IMDB.com. That will tell you the year April Love was made.
17793 Garrett Hwy, Oakland, MD 21550
The above address will map accurately to the location of the drive-in, which is visible on Google Earth using historical imagery.
“April Love” was released in 1957.
This link has photos of the 219 Drive-In.

Ken needs to remove all these comments by annacrasto as they have nothing to do with the theatres.
Sometime between June and December what was left of the screen was either demolished or fell down.
