The Country Squire Drive-In opened July 8, 1965. The movie that played that night was “The Monkey’s Uncle” with Tommy Kirk and Annette Funicello. The single screen measured 100 x 50 feet. This drive-in closed around 1977.

there is a cvs,and a nursery there now,a major intersection for a small city pretty much.
Drive -in was located on Highway 67 and can still be identified by a taxidermy shop doing business in what was the snack bar on the east side of the highway.
I believe the ole Projection booth is still in the field. Just sitting empty for no telling how long! The Taxidermy is still there last time I looked, a few months back.. Photos of the remains to be posted soon!
