Rodney, I believe that the Admiral Drive-In later the Admiral Twin Drive-In was originally known as the Modernaire Drive-In located at 7355 E. Easton, the Bellaire Drive-In was located at 705 W. 51st Street.

This theatre was never demolished as stated above. It was later twinned and renamed Admiral Drive-In Twin Theatres, and is still operating to this day.

The Bellaire opened in 1953 by L.E. Snyder (Family Theatres). Tulsa Engineering did the original layout and dirt work. The original screen tower was blown over in the late 60’s and was replaced. The original tower was a duplicate of the one used at the Apache drive-in theatre in Tulsa.
