Uploaded pics from 2007. I had a friend who worked there and would show us movies after working 2nd shift on Thursday nights. Maybe it was you craiga? It was a great time- free popcorn, hot dogs and soda too. One time the movie he ran for us was right out of the shipping box- a pristine print! It might have been Gattaca but I could be wrong. If it was you craiga…thanks!

Sad to see it closed. I worked there from 91 – 96 as both a usher and projectionist. I remember a few times seeing movies with my buddies after the bars closed. I had keys. It was strictly verboten but fun as hell. I remember seeing twister at about 3 in the morning and I completly cranked those speakers.

This theater should now be listed as closed. Marcus has now opened the nearby new 16 screen Majestic theate.

Here is an update for you, Jim. This theater is supposed to close soon.

17-screen Marcus theater OK’d

“The new theater will be at 770 N. Springdale Road, just north of Sam’s Club.

After the Majestic opens, Marcus Corp., which hopes to start construction of the new theater this spring, will close its Westown Cinema, 2440 E. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, and West Point Cinemas at 20241 W. Blue Mound Road, Town of Brookfield".
