Avenue Theatre

The Avenue Theatre was a prime movie theatre during its heyday. Built in the 1930’s, the building also had a hotel and an office space.

It was renovated in the 1950’s and live performances were held here for many years. The Avenue Theatre closed in 1997 and was demolished in 2006.
