The 220 Drive-In opened in September of 1968. This drive-in had a capacity for 460 cars. Nineteen years later in September of 1987, the 220 Drive-In closed.

Can’t Forget about the 220 Drive-in. Mike Wallace,no it is another Mike Wallace, of the 220 Drive-in set record box office on a low cost promotion on the movie “SPEED LOVERS” as Mike said,“It was a great big gate builder”. Mike Wallace. Manager late 1969.

looks like the ticket booth is still standing

Yep the ticket booth was still standing as of 2012 on Google Street View also back in 2008 the shelter over the ticket booth was there but gone by 2012. Also the snackbar appears to still exist and is being used as the office for the Budget Homes business on the site.
