Photograph of the Majestic Theatre on Church Street in Keene NH. “Motion picture entertainment became established in Keene with the opening of the Majestic Theater on Church Street on Jan.9, 1905, as the "Nickel Theater…The Majestic proudly announced that almost 2 miles of film were shown at each performance and suggested that Keene citizens "get the habit”, which they did.“ This building was torn down in 1937.
