The Redwood Drive-In was built by Untired Intermountain Theatres at a cost of $140,000. It was completed on July 15, 1949. Opened as a single with a screen measurement of 46 by 64 ft. while accomadating 600 cars when it opened. The other screens were added at a later date.

In 1975 the Redwood Drive-In had a capacity for 900 cars.

Anyon who has not experienced the Redwood Drive in should check it out! The swapmeets on the weekend run year round. They have remodeled the snack bar and bathrooms (major improvement). Tickets are six dollars per adult children 11 and under are free. Great movies at a reasonable price. I’m glad its still open!
