Was built in the late 1940’s and torn down and condos built on the site in the early-1980’s.

I had this in my territory as a city manager for SBC theatres along with the East Hartford in the late 70’s.

Construction began in August, 1950, according to Boxoffice, issue of August 5 that year. The architect was Charles H. Abramowitz.
