Showing right side of cinema, I altered the front left and right side advertising as shown here on right side. The top was painted white, below the display area was painted grey and all edging in black, the permanent lettering for Thur, Fri and Sat were in red. A new 500 watt floodlight was installed above which illuminated the display and front sides of the cinema. The large posters were hand painted by Clage Poster Services of Walthamstow and changed each Thursday and Sunday. The side elevation shows a door which allowed National Screen Services key holders to deliver and collect the films from this secure area. The windows above lit the circle stair case.
