AMC Governor's Square 10

Governor’s Square 5 opened December 9, 1988 as a Rand Theatre five-screen complex. It was closed October 8, 1989 for non-payment of taxes. It was reopened on February 2, 1990 by Carmike as Cinema V. On May 6, 2005 it was expanded to ten screens.

Per carmike.com all 10 screens now have stadium seating.

I worked on the retrofit of the new 5 auditoriums really an improvement. The retro was finished in Apr. 2005

UPDATE: This opened on December 9th, 1988 as Governor’s Square Mall cinemas with 5 screens by the infamous Rand Theatres. It closed on October 8th, 1989 for not paying state taxes. Ir reopened by Carmike Cinemas on February 2nd, 1990 as Cinema V.
