This drive-in opened on June 25, 1950 and advertised the largest screen in Upper Wisconsin and Minnesota. It was operated by Benjamin Berger of Berger Amusements Co. It was closed in June 1985. Although the marquee was still standing in 2000, the rest of the property has been redeveloped for residential housing.

http://www.moviesbystarlight.com/drivein-list/closed-driveins/stardusk-superior/superior.htm has the opening ad. Closed in June 1985 (did not finish out the season). According to trade magazines, a fire in July 1963 destroyed the concession stand.
