The Champions Village Twin was a remarkably small cinema for this high traffic area. The theatre was a typical non-descript, 1970s design. The cinema closed shortly after AMC opened the North Oaks 6 about a mile east on FM 1960.

this theatre was also owned by AMC. Closed in 1980.

Saw something called THE MILLION DOLLAR HOBO(1978) with Tim Conway and SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT(1977) here.

Was it an AMC from May 1977 to March 1979 when i lived in the Houston suburb of Aldine?
