A 1952 aerial view shows empty land, meaning that the Al-Mar most likely opened during the mid-1950s.

Correct address is: 8488 Kentucky 1428
Allen, KY 41601

Drive-in was on the west side of Kentucky 1428, about 1/5 mile south of Griffith Dr. Porter Steel Fabrication now occupied the site.

The approximate location of this drive-in was just south of Griffith Dr. on Kentucky 1428.

The outer perimeter can still be seen (barely).
