This drive-in was owned by J. Gaylard and had space for 300 cars. It was opened on December 21, 1951 with Howard Duff in “The Lady From Texas”. The Crenshaw Drive-In was still open in 1957.

This one would’ve been at about 1659 Forest Avenue, south of town and across from a golf course. It looks like the property is a little league field now.

The Crenshaw Drive-In launched December 21, 1951 with “The Lady From Texas,” two cartoons, and with a fireworks celebration.
