I have not found a specific timeline for the Lyric theater in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. The Kingfisher Times and Free Press show the Lyric in operation prior to 1909 as a live performance and vaudeville theater.
Around 1909 it began showing moving pictures while still having vaudeville acts. The last year that I have found a mention of the Lyric theater is 1918. “…it (the Lyric theater) faded away when J.L. Carr expanded his enterprises with his second theater, the Temple Theater which opened Feb. 7, 1918”.
