Photograph showing the original 1200 seated auditorium, above indirect lighting from the curved ceiling was enhanced by the decorative uplighters which produced coloured lighting affects onto the side walls fitted above walnut panelling. All lighting was made and fitted by Bournemouth and Poole Electricity Supply Co., Ltd. The ‘Southsea’ style moquette seating and Wilton carpet throughout the cinema and restaurant were again supplied by Kalee.
