This may have been the original site, but I remember seeing a few movies there in 1960 and it was located on the Andrews Highway. Later, it was replaced by an indoor movie palace called the Westwood. The hospital currently called the West Campus of Midland Memorial is on that site now.

Actually the Westwood theater was built on the property next door to Chief on the west side of the drive-in. Watched a lot of movies at both places long ago.

The Chief was indeed on Andrews Hwy next door to the Westwood. The Westwood was very nice and was managed by my ex wife’s Grandmother. the Westwood even had a private beauty parlor for Mrs. Hodge
