This place went to seed by the mid 80s but I do have fond memories of great double features back then including Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom w/ Ghostbusters and Weird Science w/ Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. Good times. I’ll always remember one of the screens, I think in cinema 3, had a two foot gash in the bottom right corner that always bugged the hell out of me.

This Theatre, Edwards ninth Orange County location, opened in time for Christmas 1974. As I remember it was an exact duplicate of Edwards Cinema Center 4 (opened Aug ‘72), three miles away, in Costa Mesa’s Mesa Verde shopping center which was situated across the street from Edwards original cinema.
Most of the theatre was demolished for the fitness club which is now there, however the basic footprint of the building remains.
I always enjoyed Edwards double feature policy which many times included two first-run A movies.
