This 30-year-old twin theater, once operated by Landmark Theatres, has reopened in Palo Alto under the CineArts banner. (CineArts is operated by Century Theatres.)

The company has now refurbished the lobby and the theater’s seats.

The Palo Alto Square Theater originally closed in August 2001 after negotiations between Landmark Theatres and Equity Office Properties Trust broke down.
