This was a very popular second run house for many years. Cinemark remodeled this location with “luxury” seating and a first run policy. They never regained the level of audiences they had experienced in the past. This also resulted in a massive decline in the profits from their concessions. Carriage Place had new owners and Cinemark decided to simply not renew their lease and closed this location in June of 2023

Closed on 06/11/24 due to Cinemark letting the lease expire.

Now 1.75 admission, senior Mondays, discount Tuesdays, all digital. Recently underwent renovations. Continues to be Columbus' best stop for discount movies.

To follow up on cvolosin’s comment of 10/5/11, Movies 12 Carriage Place opened on May 24, 1991. The AMC Dublin Village expanded from 10 to 14 screens shortly after that. Carriage Place opened with Ultra Stereo surround in all rooms, with at least one being THX certified when that actually meant something.

this theater was built and has always been a $1 theater. It prompted AMC to keep adding on screens in Dublin to keep customers..

Currently has one 3-D Digital theatre. Quite a bargain with a $1.50 admission and a $2.00 3-D Surcharge.

Saw Black Stallion, and other movies just after off first runs.

A very successful dollar theatre. This place packs them in on holidays and weekends. It is very hard to go to any of the businesses in this center during prime movie time as parking is very difficult. I believe it was a first-run house for awhile, but it has mostly been a discount theatre.

No stadium seating, and only a few digital sound rooms.
