The first cinema to open in this complex was the Gazeta in 1966 which was located on the ground floor. The following year (1967) the Gazetinha opened in the basement. In 1970 a third screen the Gazetao opened on the first floor. Since then a fourth screen has been added.

This theater shows first run Brazilian films and second run American films.
