The Crown Glen 10 opened on October 17, 2003 at the Glen Town Center, on the site of the former Glenview Naval Air Station. The ceiling of that theatre has pictures of airplanes around it. This theater has 10-screens of stadium seating and digital sound. The Glen 10 features independent and foreign films as well as traditional Hollywood fare.

On March 2, 2007, Kerasotes Theatres acquired this theater, as well as the Crown Village Crossing 18 in Skokie. In April 2015 it was taken over by ArcLight Cinemas and reopened May 1, 2015 as the ArcLight Cinemas Glenview.

I was at this complex over the Summer for a car show. It’s truly a city unto itself. Didn’t see the theatres, but that makes it even more complete. You could probably by a condo there, sell your car, and never leave.
They did a nice job of incorporating the old flight tower, (which is kind of short) into the new buildings. Aero related statues, etc. Got a little Stepfordy at the Starbucks, but still plenty going on.

This theater is now a Arclight Theater. First time I hear about this chain. It it the 1st one in Illinois. Last time I took a pic of this place, it was an AMC.
