The Regal Marketplace at Oaks Stadium 24 opened in 1999. It is off Route 422 and Egypt Road and is northwest of Philadelphia, in Montgomery County near Chester County. The theater is in a huge parking lot. Nearby, there are big box retail stores. The exterior of the theater is done in a neo-Moderne style. The 24 auditoriums all have stadium seating and digital sound.

As of now, major newspapers list only two other 24 screen megaplexes in the entire Philadelphia area: the AMC Neshaminy Mall 24 and the AMC Loews Cherry Hill 24.
The June 1999 Philadelphia Magazine ranked this movie theater as a nearly perfect 4.8, with the comment “Staff is like a welcoming committee.”
