Cinemark’s 14 screen Tinseltown is the only multiplex remaining in the California college town of Chico and, since the closure of the venerable El Rey theatre by Regal Cinemas, its only competition is the small, locally-owned art house, the Pageant Theatre. It is currently the largest multiplex in the central valley north of Sacramento.
