LM, the Bon Ton Theatre was the theatre that burned down. The Shelby was built on the site of the former Bon Ton Theatre. The Shelby shouldn’t have an AKA. When the Shelby closed in the mid-1960’s it was operated by Chakeres Theatres.

The Shelby Theater opened in November 1947 to replace a theater that burned down in 1945. This is from Boxoffice magazine.
