This building has been around since the late nineteenth century. It has been a garage, skating rink, theater, warehouse and most recently a fire station. About fifteen years ago renovation began, and the venue is now used for movies, music and community theater.

The only seat count that I found mentioned on the Butte Opera House website is 174 seats. I don’t know how current that number is.

As can be seen in the photo, aka name should be Butte Theater.
