This theater opened as part of the multi-level Kaleidoscope outdoor shopping mall in around 1998 or 1999. It is located across the street from The Shops at Mission Viejo (formerly the Mission Viejo Mall), which is adjacent to the former Edwards Cinema that was converted to a church in the 1990s.
