A 1957 advertisement and photo for the drive-in can be seen below. Opened prior to 1955, the Beckley Open Air Theatre parked 350 cars and was owned by Clemens and Chandler.

A Super Wal Mart store now sits on the site.

In 1964 in Boxoffice it was annouced that this drive-in was having GOLDEN HOT-SHOT car heaters installed,from Eprad Theatre Supply.

Now White Pines Housing. Approx. location for this drive-in was Dixieland and Cessna.
