The 18-screen Regal Round Lake Beach opened in the early 2000s, and was the second movie theater to be built in Round Lake Beach (the first was built less than a mile away and demolished years before this theater was conceived).

The Regal features stadium-style seating in all of its screening rooms.

The Regal was repainted and had all of its neon replaced in 2007.
