The South Gate Drive-In was opened prior to 1950. It was located at Firestone Boulevard at Atlantic Avenue, and was operated by Berman Theatres.

I drove by this location today. It’s heavy industrial, and looks like it has been for some time. I’m not sure where the drive-in would have been, unless it was off to the back somewhere.

It was a rather large Drive-in parking 850 cars and the SOUTH GATE DRIVE-In was owned by ALADDIN DRIVE-IN THEATRE INC. All this in 1956.
